AMANDA SUMMERS

is originally from Baltimore, Maryland where she trained and competed at the Mid- Atlantic Center for the Performing Arts. She went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a BFA from Point Park University. At Point Park, Amanda had the pleasure of performing works by Christopher Huggins, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Val Caniparoli, George Balanchine, Gerald Arpino, Garfield Lemonius, and Kiesha Lalama, to name a few. She has attended programs at Boston Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago twice. Professionally, Amanda has performed with Royal Caribbean International and Texture Contemporary Ballet in Pittsburgh, PA under Alan Obuzor and Kelsey Bartman, where she was given the opportunity to perform at the Jacob’s Pillow Inside/ Out Festival in 2014. As a freelance dancer here in NYC, Amanda also currently dances with Shelly Hutchinson Collective, SMDT under Billy Blanken, and Neville Dance Theatre. Amanda is super excited to join NSquared Dance!
